Health Care Contracting Trends, Opportunities and Compliance

The Limits of Transparency in Federal Contracts
Federal government contractors are subject to unprecedented transparency requirements. It's not just the dollar amount of the contract that is being made public. Executive compensation data must be reported on the Internet, even for privately-held companies that do not hold prime contracts. As of April 15, 2011, the Federal Awardee Performance and Integrity Information System (FAPIIS) has been opened to the public. There is even a proposal to publish the text of all federal contracts on the Internet. This webinar focuses on the limits of these new federal transparency requirements—when they apply and when they do not apply, what must be disclosed and what may be kept confidential, and how to avoid the negative competitive impact of the new rules.
